Job Description

Under the direct supervision of the Manager, reconciles multiple escrow accounts daily, including corresponding with offices to research and resolve posting issues, while ensuring the quality and quantity of work.  Regular, predictable and dependable attendance is essential to satisfactory performance of this job.

Accounting Coordinator

  • Download data files from bank/upload to RamQuest.
  • Reconcile cleared items against posted items.
  • Correspond with title branches to resolve erroneous or missing postings and their timely resolution.
  • Monitors reconciliation reports for outstanding items requiring follow up and pursue resolution.
  • Maintain scans of completed reconciliations. Assist with audit preparation.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
  • 2 years of accounting experience, bank reconciliation experience a plus
  • Escrow accounting or real estate settlement processing or post closing experience a plus
  • Good oral communication and organizational skills and able to work independently.
  • Must be able to work well under pressure and meet daily deadlines.
