Job Description

Long & Foster Property Management is one of the largest single-family property management and rental service companies in the country.  Our size and resources allows our customers to experience a stress-free property management experience.  We offer a full suite of services, from rental property screening to maintenance oversight and accounting.

Under the general supervision of the Manager, the Administrative Assistant performs general clerical and administrative duties to assure the office runs smoothly on a daily basis.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Supporting Property Managers with daily operational tasks
  • Providing excellent customer service
  • Answer office phones and takes messages and relay to appropriate person.
  • Document everything into software and follow up with team members to ensure responsibilities are completed.
  • Contribute to resident satisfaction and the achievement of property goals.
  • Ensure keys and property access methods are organized
  • Track combo boxes, pool passes, parking passes, etc and ensure they are logged in the software.
  • Enter Bills, receipts and rent checks into the software platform
  • Manage incoming post office mail and distribute accordingly
  • Audit and confirm the property management team is in compliance
  • Assist with remarketing workflows
  • Assist with incoming and outgoing tenant workflows

Job Requirements

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent combination of training and experience required.
  • 2 or more years of administrative experience required.
  • Strong computer skills in MS Office and strong communication skills
