Job Description

Under the general supervision of the Senior Manager, Applications Support, the Application Support Analyst II configures, integrates, and supports business applications and their technical infrastructure.  Follows pre-established guidelines and develops new guidelines to provide technical support in one or all areas of applications that includes release management, troubleshooting the application and server environments.  Lead the development of procedures and best practices for users of applications; communicates and trains, as needed. May lead and guide the work of others.  Wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.  Must be able to work irregular hours, be on-call for production emergencies, and be willing to carry and respond to a mobile device.

Application Support Analyst II


  • Responsible for responding to application support escalations which involve troubleshooting moderate technical issues and resolving data/configuration issues.
  • Deploy application releases as defined by the software project teams following standard guidelines. Participate in, or directly work on any additional projects, assignments, or initiatives assigned by management.
  • Monitor and manage a large number of critical service delivery systems. Collaborate with Project Management and Engineering to review software enhancements and provide feedback.
  • Communicate problems, issues, resolution, and post-resolution follow-ups to Project Managers, IS Management and key business stakeholders.
  • Apply proven problem-solving skills to identify, communicate, and resolve issues impacting application availability. Perform root cause analysis on reported defects and make appropriate recommendations for resolution.  Document and test applied recommendations.

Job Requirements


  • Bachelor's degree 
  • 3-5 years of experience in the area of applications support or DevOps - Networking, OS Admin & security strategies
  • 3-5 years of experience with Microsoft Windows server operating systems & IIS Administration
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience with Citrix Administration, Cloud Services & Service Transitions/Migrations
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to work with different internal departments and end users on a continual basis

Preferred Skills/Experience

  • EXIN - "DevOps - Cloud Computer - ISO/IEC 27001" (Any)
  • Microsoft MCSA or AWS (Any)
  • CompTIA Certification (CompTIA Network+, CompTIA Security+, CompTIA Cloud+) - Scrum - Citrix CCA (Any)
  • ITIL Foundations preferred, particularly Service Operations processes or ISACA (Any)
