Job Summary:

The Business Intelligence Analyst will primarily be responsible for developing and maintaining reporting, strategic analytics and risk management models for PHM’s Sales, Operations, Finance and Compliance departments.  The role will be responsible for system optimization and data management for all data residing within PHM’s LOS as well as data provided by affiliate businesses and vendors.  The person filling this position will be a member of the Business Intelligence Group and will report directly to the Senior Manager of Business Intelligence. 

 Key Responsibilities:

  • Support reporting and analytics across all business lines within PHM
  • Balance quantitative and contextual analysis to drive actionable conclusions that can be leveraged by business managers and executives
  • Perform gap analysis of functionality and requirements for optimal use and distribution of reports and data visualization tools
  • Work with PHM real estate affiliates to develop new insights into customer trends and market competition
  • Partner with Senior Manager of Business Intelligence to develop monitoring and forecasting tools to ensure maximum efficiency in staffing and operational procedures
  • Responsible for delivery of daily, quarterly and annual reports required by states and regulatory entities

 

Job Requirements

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree (preferably in Business Administration, Finance or Information Systems) plus three years of experience in mortgage banking or financial services or equivalent combination of education and work experience are required
  • Two or more years of experience producing reports and analytical output in financial services industry. Specific experience in the mortgage industry is considered advantageous
  • General knowledge of loan origination and/or loan servicing processes and procedures
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Access and Visual Basic for Applications required
  • Working knowledge of SQL and data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, etc.) required
  • Experience with Encompass or similar mortgage LOS preferred
  • Familiarity with basic modeling and forecasting techniques preferred
  • Experience with sales commission concepts, policies and procedures preferred but not required
