HR Coordinator

Job Summary:

Under the direct supervision of the Senior HR Business Partner, and the general direction of the Chief Human Resources Officer, responsible for the maintenance of employee electronic records.  Tracks new hire function and employment changes.  Provides administrative support in all functional areas.  Assumes responsibility for confidentiality, quality, quantity and timeliness of work.  

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provides support to multiple business lines, both within corporate headquarters and branch offices within Long & Foster
  • Coordinates a variety of on-boarding tasks to include I-9 review
  • Processes paperwork for new hires, various employee changes, and terminations in the HRIS system
  • Assists employees with the navigation of the company internal website and HRIS system
  • Monitors and updates various tracking reports
  • Possesses in-depth knowledge of the employee handbook, company policies and procedures
  • Completes employment verifications (VOEs), other governmental inquiries, and employee requested verification letters

Job Requirements

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • 2+ years of HR experience
  • Proficiency with MS Office and HRIS database experience; UltiPro is a plus!
  • Must be organized, detail-oriented, and able to meet deadlines
  • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills since this is a customer-focused position
