Job Summary:

The Product Marketing Manager will lead the development and ongoing maintenance and promotion of products and tools for The Long & Foster Companies and its real estate agents. The ideal candidate will be an organized and motivated self-starter who can drive the successful launch and adoption of digital, print, social and other products.

This individual develop strategic plans to introduce/market new and existing products and craft messaging related to marketing and promoting these tools. The Product Manager will also work closely with key stakeholders and assigned vendors to assess product needs, develop new strategies and evaluate performance of tools and products.

He/she will also be responsible for contract negotiation, vendor relationship management, product invoicing and reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create and implement strategic plans to ensure successful delivery and adoption of products and tools
  • Write and develop product communications and messaging (e.g., FAQs, brochures, videos, flyers, presentations and how-to guides) to promote key product benefits and features
  • Manage vendor relationships and contracts
  • Address day-to-day issues or questions that arise about assigned products
  • Work in a cross-functional team, developing positive working relationships across departments
  • Lead requirements gathering with stakeholders to ensure proposed solutions meet business objectives and deliver successful results
  • Establish and maintain a prioritized list of existing products based on their value to the company and use the information to appropriately allocate resources
  • Perform product testing before, during, and after launch
  • Track ongoing product-related costs and usage
  • Evaluate new and emerging products, solutions and vendors to identify any gaps or opportunities
  • Make recommendations and suggestions for system enhancements and explore/improve efficiencies
  • Report on projected costs and budget for products
  • Facilitate any necessary product training in coordination with in-house training

 

Job Requirements

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of product marketing and/or management experience
  • Experience working in product development preferred
  • Exceptional organizational and project management skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
