Urban Pace, part of The Long & Foster Companies, a division of Berkshire Hathaway, provides Development Services - marketing, sales, leasing and advisory services to real estate developers. Founded in 2001, our team is the experienced authority having worked on more than 250 communities from large master planned sites to urban boutique buildings. We specialize in condominiums, townhomes, apartments and new construction sites across all price points.

Urban Pace is seeking a Marketing Manager to manage marketing efforts across a portfolio of rental and for-sale development projects and to otherwise assist the Urban Pace Executive Team with executing client services and new business pursuits.

The Marketing Manager will be responsible for digital marketing and social media content, preparing monthly marketing reports, coordinating photography/videography, copywriting, executing Urban Pace's email marketing campaigns, managing the lead database and managing creative development by third party creative firms and advertising agencies.  They will act as the Webmaster for the CMS WordPress sites for projects and the Urban Pace corporate website.  Over time, they will also handle overall project management for deals smaller than 5 units with direct contact with the client and creative vendor.  The Marketing Manager will also assist the VP of Marketing with accounting processes.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Marketing Plans - Assist in preparing and executing project specific marketing plans and budgets
  • Develop and manage property marketing brochures, collateral, websites, social media channels and advertising
  • Create and update sales/marketing collateral, branded lender/pricing sheets, and signage in conjunction with our creative agencies.
  • Develop, execute and staff broker outreach, broker events and general public events
  • Manage the design and implementation of property marketing tour deliverables, including onsite graphics, presentation boards, signage and onsite marketing centers
  • Continually monitor analytics for eblast campaigns, advertising outreach, social media channels and website traffic, and provide guidance for improving metrics
  • Continually evaluate marketing plans and budgets to ensure goals and objectives are consistently being met at the highest level
  • Facilitate communications between creative partners, vendors, and Urban Pace on project creative deliverables
  • Plan and assist in the execution of all web, SEO/SEM, social media advertising campaigns
  • Manage digital marketing & social media content, including Google AdWords and Facebook Ad Campaigns
  • Identify trends and insights, and optimize ad budgets and content performance based on the insights
  • Monitor and maintain tags and platform migrations
  • Update and maintain CMS for Urban Pace website and project websites
  • Coordinate photography/videography of projects
  • Assist in communication with the sales and leasing teams
  • Manage marketing vendors, i.e. printers, sign companies, catering companies, etc.
  • Conduct company, client, industry, competitor, and other research and analysis to assist managers with business development efforts as well as other marketing reports

Job Requirements

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's Degree; Marketing, communications or related field of study preferred
  • 3-5 years or marketing experience
  • General knowledge of the Washington, DC real estate market and surrounding submarkets
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite, and experience with email marketing tools and CRMs
  • Experience with Google AdWords and Analytics and Facebook Ad Campaigns
  • Must possess strong collaboration skills, be able to work under direct supervision as a team member, as well as be able to work independently
  • Proven record of providing excellent internal and external customer service
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Effective listening and critical thinking skills
