Job Description

Under the general supervision of the Branch Manager, the Transaction Coordinator assists agents with coordinating sales activities from contract ratification until closing.  

Transaction Coordinator

Key Responsibilities:

  • Enters listings into MRIS system and ensures the MRIS information is current
  • Creates Master Client files with all necessary documents for all transactions
  • Orders HOA documents and Home Warranty, if applicable
  • Verifies files for accuracy and completion of all required documents for ratified contracts.  Monitors all timelines and contingencies.
  • Launches activity tracking file, changes MRIS status, if applicable, and contacts lending institution to confirm formal application
  • Sends mortgage payoff request for sellers
  • Orders home inspection, termite, septic, or water inspection, if applicable, and notifies all parties
  • Sends title packet to title company and schedules settlement time; notifies all parties
  • Forwards necessary paperwork to headquarters for commission disbursement

Job Requirements

  • High school graduate or equivalent combination of training and experience. 
  • Previous real estate experience is required
  • Good verbal communications skills and the ability to work independently. 
  • Working knowledge of word processing required.
